Dear Pink Granite Community,

As I prepare to pass the torch as Executive Director of the Pink Granite Foundation, my heart is full of gratitude and pride. What began as a vision shared by three women in 2020 has blossomed into an extraordinary force for empowerment. Over the last five years, this organization has mentored 125 remarkable women, grown our community to over 250 passionate members and created flagship experiences that have become cornerstones of connection at the Texas Capitol. Each milestone represents not just numbers, but real lives touched, careers launched and dreams realized.

I’m thrilled to announce that Jo Cassandra Cuevas, my brilliant and relentlessly dedicated co-founder (and our current Board Chair), will be stepping into the Executive Director role on January 1, 2026. Jo’s vision, dedication and leadership have been instrumental from day one, and I know she will take Pink Granite to even greater heights. I’m thankful for her leadership and commitment to the Foundation. In fact, our entire inaugural Board of Directors has been nothing short of extraordinary – a powerhouse team that has celebrated life’s beautiful moments together while building something transformative. Since coming together, we’ve welcomed six babies (all boys – what are the odds!), toasted two engagements and a wedding and high-fived countless career moves and promotions along the way. 

The truth that Pink Granite proves every day is simple yet powerful: women can achieve incredible things when they support each other and work together. This foundation isn’t just an organization – it’s a movement, a family and a testament to what’s possible when we lift as we climb. While my role is changing, my commitment to our mission remains unwavering. I’ll be cheering from the sidelines, continuing to champion every woman who walks through the Capitol doors and watching with admiration as Pink Granite continues to transform lives. Thank you for trusting me and Pink Granite with your time, stories and your professional growth.
