A GOOD FIT FOR YOU IF:

You need help developing the skills to move your career forward or advice from a woman who's been in your shoes.

Support for women seeking to build a career in Texas politics and policy.

Every November Pink Granite launches its annual mentorship program, focused on pairing women working or aspiring to work in Texas politics in a guided mentorship program.

A one time fee of $20 for the application is required.

One meeting a month for twelve months (November 2023-November 2024) minimum time with your mentor is required, but participants can spend more time where appropriate.

This year we will launch two classes of our mentorship program, that will be paired up with high-ranking women working in Texas politics. The Build class will focus on entry-level or early career women, with the "Beyond" class focused on women with more experience but still seek mentor support.

Once a month meetings, virtually or in-person if possible, with your mentor. There will be training for mentees before the program begins to learn how to get the most out of this experience, as well as a kickoff party. You will also be invited to an end of the year wrap-up party with all mentor and mentee pairings, where there will also be an award for Pink Granite Foundation Mentor of the Year.

Yes! Should you be paired with a current member, discussion of current legislation or anything that would interfere with either of your jobs is not allowed

Please complete this interest form. Thank you for your support!

We recruit women with a wide variety of backgrounds and professional experience to serve as mentors in the program. Once the mentee application period closes, we match mentors and mentees based on the mentee's goals, industry, etc.
